We recently revisited the guidelines/guidance on managing medcine in school with our school nurse. A reminder for parents of the procedures/protocol regarding medicines is provided in the document below.
Parental Agreement for school to administer medicine
If your child needs medication, please see Mrs Riley in the school office. You will be asked to complete a form giving parental consent and also to specify the dose and time that the medicine should be given. Mrs Riley is responsible for all medicine administration and record keeping and she will contact you if there is a problem.

When Should I Worry? - Your guide to Coughs, Colds, Earache and Sore Throats
The Medicine Management teams across Staffordshire are running a campaign on the correct use of antibiotics to go alongside the European awareness day on 18 November 2014.
A book entitled “When should I worry?” helps to inform parents regarding the treatment of common illness for young children. A copy is on display in the school entrance, on the website and can be downloaded using the link below. ![]()
